From Our Pastor

Welcome to St. Luke Presbyterian Church!

This summer, St. Luke began an intentional process of asking itself ‘why are we here?’ Out of those conversations, came what we
are calling our WHY statement.

St. Luke Presbyterian Church

Hands of Service

Hands of Faith

Open Hands of Love

We live into Hands of Service is many ways.  Some of those are helping Amarillo College with their food drives, supporting the teachers and staff at Mesa Verde Elementary School, and working to support the ongoing national disaster needs through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance program.  Our youth went to Leadville, Colorado this year on a mission trip, and our hands of service continue to reach out within our congregation as well.

We live into our Hands of Faith through a variety of avenues.  Music.  Prayer Team.  Adult Sunday school.  Our LOGOS program

on Wednesday night for pre-K through seniors in high school.  Our St. Luke Women.  We are a people who are not afraid to ask questions about God, Jesus, and the Spirit.

We live into our Open Hands of Love by being an inclusive congregation.  We are a founding member of OAC (Open and Affirming Congregations of the Texas Panhandle).  St. Luke is a theologically diverse community of faith.  We strive to be at our best to listen

to hear instead of listen to respond.

Welcome to young and old and to all ages and ethnicities.

Welcome to singles and to families of all shapes and sizes.

Welcome to those who are joyful and those in sorrow.

Welcome to those who are grateful and those who are struggling.

Welcome to those who are broken and those who are whole.

Welcome to long-time believers, to doubters, and to those who are doubting believers.

Come just as you are.

It is the people that make St. Luke…St. Luke!  They are caring, resourceful, funny, serious, excellent cooks, fabulous musicians, and would love to meet you.  Consider yourself invited.

Many blessings and thank you for visiting our website.
