SLY stands for St. Luke Youth. 20 to 25 middle school through high school age youth meet together Sunday evenings for fellowship, for Bible study, to look at how Christ is at work in their lives, and to reflect on what it means to follow Jesus out into the world. The youth take seriously their Lord's call to serve his world by undertaking frequent work projects around Amarillo.

While adults are always around to lend an occasional hand, SLY is all about the youth. The group has developed its own leadership team and organization. They plan their meetings, decide on the work projects, take turns preparing the weekly meditations and generally govern themselves. Through their own efforts they grow in confidence in what they can accomplish with God's help.
